Therapeutic Massage Therapy Services & Rates

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes, such as rolling, kneading, and percussion, to help improve circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage relieves tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body and is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. You may feel sore after a deep tissue massage, and your therapist will communicate with you to ensure comfort levels are met. It is essential to hydrate before and after these sessions.

Hot Stone

Hot Stone Therapy uses heated stones placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles heated with these stones release tension and stress faster and on a deeper level than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is preformed using gentle and rhythmic movements towards your body's lymph nodes. MLD massage can help with swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, MLD can be used for a wide range of purposes, including faster recovery from injury and reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy. If you have had recent plastic surgeries, such as BBL, Mommy Makeovers, facelifts, lipo, or breast augmentation/reconstruction, this technique is ideal for a speedy recovery time.

Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy

Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy is the most luxurious deep tissue massage available. The therapist utilizes their feet to administer smooth gliding strokes to relax, relieve muscle tension, and help improve circulation. The therapist will administer this technique with clean feet while holding onto two overhead parallel bars for support.

Add-ons

  • Cupping

Therapeutic cupping is a combination of massage movements and negative pressure with the use of a suction device on the skin. A cup is positioned at the area to be treated and, depending on the type of cups being used, a vacuum is created within the cup to draw the skin and underlying tissue into the cup. The produced vacuum creates a suction effect that increases blood and lymphatic circulation to the localized area to draw stagnant, pathogenic factors and toxins out while relaxing and supporting muscle tissue.

  • Gua sha

Gua sha is part of traditional Chinese medicine in which a tool is used to scrape one's skin. Gua sha releases unhealthy bodily matter from blood stasis within sore, tired, stiff or injured muscles. New oxygenated blood flows to the areas, thus promoting metabolic cell repair, regeneration, healing and recovery.
